Sanyo HIT 190
Sanyo HIP-190BA3, HIT 190 Watt Solar Panel
The SANYO HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin Layer) solar
cell is made of a thin single crystalline silicon wafer surrounded by ultra-thin
amorphous silicon layers. This product is a leader in quality and performance
using advanced manufacturing techniques.
Sanyo's HIT panels use a blend of amorphous and crystalline silicon to deliver
a high cell conversion efficiency. All Sanyo panels feature MC connectors/cables
pre-wired into a conduit-ready junction box and are equipped with factory installed
bypass diodes to provide circuit protection. The anodized aluminum tubular
frames are designed for top down mounting clips.
Sanyo solar panels are ideal for grid-tie applications. Unlike other panels
that include a guarantee of plus or minus 10% of their rated output, Sanyo
offers a unique guarantee that their panels never produce less than the rated
power output. Sanyo panels also outperform all other panels due to the fact
that they maintain higher voltages at higher temperatures - which means more
power and better performance. The result is one of the highest Performance
Test Condition ratings per watt (W ptc) for higher rebates in California. Performance
Test Condition testing simulates the real-world, high cell temperature that
panels are subjected to in the field.
The HIT 190 panel has a cell conversion efficiency of 18.5% and a panel conversion
efficiency of 16.1% that is significantly higher than conventional SANYO solar
cells.
High conversion efficiency and lightweight design conserve space and weight.
The outstanding conversion efficiency and high power output of the HIT 190
save approximately 20% of installation space. HIT 190 panels can be installed
on narrow roof spaces which previously presented difficulties. In addition,
with fewer solar panels, there is less weight on the roof.

* Due to the high global demand being placed by the Japanese
and European markets current availability on solar panels may be 2 to 4 weeks
back ordered. Considering our warehouse inventory changes daily. Please email
for current instock availability on any panels. Any orders placed will not
be charged until item physically ships.
** Due the physical size of the Sanyo HIT 190 Solar Panel
it exceeds the physical shipping charcteristics and will be required to be
shipped by freight truck. (Be Advised)
*** Shipping charges: The UPS shipping
program does NOT figure shipping charges correctly on larger items ordered
online, such as panels. Over a certain size, they go by "dimensional weight".
This has the effect of making a 35 pound panel get charged at the 70 pound
rate - on the other hand, TWO panels would cost the same. The online calculations
may be a little bit low for a single solar panel 60 watts or higher.
